During this meeting, we’ll explore fabric options and discuss the entire design process, ensuring you fully
understand the steps ahead. We’ll talk through every detail—from the silhouette to intricate elements like
embroidery, beading, and closures.

Step 2: Custom Design Plan and Quotation
After our initial consultation, I will create a detailed design plan that captures your vision perfectly. The plan will outline fabric choices, design elements, and the overall structure of the dress. Along with this, I will prepare a clear quotation, outlining all costs related to materials, labor, and your custom design’s intricacies.

Step 3: Fabric Selection and First Fitting
A follow-up appointment for fabric selection. This exciting phase allows you to feel the Fabric and see how it moves, ensuring it aligns with your vision. Whether you’ve chosen lace, silk, or satin, we’ll confirm that the fabric complements both the design and your personal style. At this meeting, I’ll also take precise measurements to ensure a erfect fit. We’ll review the design plan and make any necessary adjustments before I begin creating the pattern.

Step 4: Creating the Skeleton: The First Fitting
Now comes the artistry of couture Dressmaking. We’ll create the “skeleton” of your dress—the base structure that holds everything together. This phase focuses on the fit and shape. We’ll ensure that the dress flatters your form and make adjustments where needed.
During the first fitting, we’ll assess the structure, considering fabric behaviour, style line placement, necklines, and backlines. The dress will start to take shape exactly as you envisioned.

Step 5: Building Layers and Refining the Design
With the base structure in place, we’ll begin adding layers, refining the shape, and ensuring a flawless fit. We’ll
also add closures, lining, and other structural elements that breathe life into the design. This phase is all about
precision—each detail, from fabric drape to seam strength, is carefully considered.

Step 6: The Final Fittings
A custom couture dress typically requires at least three fittings to ensure the perfect fit. In each fitting, we assess how the dress sits on your body and make necessary adjustments to achieve the ideal balance of comfort and style.
The third fitting is often the most exciting: this is when your dress is nearly complete, and you can see how everything has come together. If everything looks perfect, this fitting maybe when you collect your dress, ready for your special occasion.

Step 7: Collection of Your Custom Design
Once the final fitting is complete and you’re delighted with every detail, it’s time to collect your dress. The
design is fully finished, with intricate details, embellishments, and the final touches in place. Whether it’s lace, beading, or embroidery, every element has been crafted to ensure it’s a perfect representation of your vision.
